About Our Syrup

Syrup Producers Since 1971

All syrup sales support our Kiwanis Club's community and children's projects.

All syrup sales support our Kiwanis Club's community and children's projects. Since inception we have produced nearly 4,600 gallons of syrup resulting in $400,000 in today’s dollars returning to the Granville community and youth programs we sponsor (4th of July Celebration, scholarships, school service, scouting and environmental programs, to name a few).

The start of the syrup season fluctuates depending on the weather. In late Winter – early Spring we tap trees in several locations around Granville, collect and boil sapwater when we have a continual daily cycle of above- and below-freezing temperatures.

See How It's Made

We invite the community to see how we make syrup at The Farm on Sugar Ridge in Liberty township during syrup season (Feb-Mar). The Farm on Sugar Ridge has been making their own syrup since the 80s and started through the interest of John Wyman as part of an Association Degree in Forest Management (sugar making was part of the class). The Farm has grown from it's initial 25 bucket farm and flat pan evaporator to a full production facility with a wood fired evaporator, reverse-osmosis (RO) condensing system and a filter press to handle the increased volumes that they receive. What started out as a hobby continues now to be a "labor of love". Email or call us to schedule an appointment, or just stop by when you see the steam rolling!

We deliver locally (Zip Codes 43001, 43023, 43025, 43055, 43056) and can ship to any zip code in the US upon request.

Easy payment by check, payable to "Granville Kiwanis Foundation" (Mail to Granville Kiwanis, PO Box 133, Granville, OH 43023) or by credit card using the secure PayPal site.

Our syrup is also for sale at the annual Granville Kiwanis Pancake Day held in February at St. Edwards Church.
